TOPEKA – (October 9, 2023) - On Sunday, Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach moved to light Memorial Hall in blue and white as a show of solidarity with Israel. Memorial Hall is the state building that houses the Secretary of State and Attorney General offices.
He also requested in a letter to the Governor, Kansas Senate President, and Speaker of the Kansas House that the Capitol and other state buildings be illuminated with blue and white lights as well.
"Kansas must stand united with Israel, our democratic ally in the Middle East. The terrorists who attacked Israel hate America too. We must stand with our friends in Israel and recognize that the United States is a target as well," Kobach said.
