Incident Report/Case Referral

The Medicaid Fraud & Abuse Division of the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, by federal law, may investigate:

1. Fraud by Medicaid providers,
2. Patient abuse or neglect in a health care facility, as defined by 42 U.S.C. § 1396b(q)(4)(A)(i), or
3. Patient abuse or neglect in a board and care facility, as defined by 42 U.S.C. § 1396b(q)(4)(A)(ii).
