Beginning July 1, 2013, state or municipal buildings which have been exempted from the requirements of 2013 HB 2052 are required to post a new sign stating that the building is exempted. Click here for more information.
In most cases, the posting of an approved sign is required to prohibit the carrying of a concealed weapon in public or private buildings.
Please refer to the documents below for more information on the statutory and regulatory requirements for signage, as well as places where concealed weapons may be prohibited without signs posted.
