Medicaid Inspector General issues three reports regarding Kansas Medicaid program

The reviews noted that $1,313,175 in payments were made to MCOs for 25 deceased beneficiaries; that $1,665,815 in State MediKan funds were expended to pay medical claims for 912 beneficiaries that were not longer eligible for services; and that it was very difficult for Kansans to report fraud.
