SEDAN – (April 18, 2018) – A Chautauqua County man was sentenced today to 6 years in prison after pleading no contest to a child sex crime, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said.
Terry Lee Windsor, 48, of Sedan, pleaded no contest in February to one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Judge Jeffrey D. Gossard today sentenced Windsor to 72 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections. Windsor is also subject to lifetime post-release supervision, electronic monitoring and sex offender registration. The crime occurred in December 2015.
The case was investigated by the Sedan Police Department. Assistant Attorney General Will Manly and Acting Deputy Attorney General Melissa Johnson of Schmidt’s office prosecuted the case.
