TOPEKA – (April 21, 2016) - Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt tomorrow will issue a legal opinion related to gaming in Sedgwick County. The opinion relates to the effect of legislation that would allow a “revote” on whether to permit the installation of electronic gaming machines at a racetrack facility in Sedgwick County. The opinion was requested by State Rep. Mark Kahrs.
The opinion will be released on the attorney general’s website at 10 a.m. tomorrow and will be available at http://ag.ks.gov/media-center/ag-opinions.
