TOPEKA – (April 4, 2016) – Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt on Thursday will announce a new partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) and the Kansas Motor Carriers Association (KMCA). Representatives will be on hand to discuss the ongoing partnership among the three organizations to combat sex trafficking in Kansas.

*The news conference will be held outside in front of the Freedom Drivers Project which will be parked in the parking lot adjacent to the Maner Conference Center.
Immediately following the news conference, the Freedom Drivers Project, a 48-foot mobile exhibit designed to educate citizens about human trafficking, will be available for media tours until 10 a.m. This is the first time TAT has brought the mobile exhibit to Kansas. The national organization is in town to participate in a collaborative training event with law enforcement hosted by Schmidt’s office.
