IOLA – (December 15, 2015) – A Wichita man today pleaded no contest to sex crimes against a child, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said.
Alan Lee Greer, 32, of Wichita, pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of aggravated indecent liberties before Judge Daniel D. Creitz in Allen County District Court. The crimes occurred between 2007 and 2009 in Iola involving a child under the age of 14. Sentencing is scheduled for January 27 at 10 a.m.
The case was investigated by the Chanute Police Department, the Iola Police Department, the Sedgwick County Exploited and Missing Child Unit, the Heart of America Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Attorney General’s Office. Assistant Attorney General Christine Ladner of Schmidt’s office is prosecuting the case.
