Kansas VINE

Kansas Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) is a service provided through the collaboration of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, the Office of the Attorney General and the Kansas Sheriffs' Association. The VINE system allows victims of crime to use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and email notification when the offender's custody status changes.

Kansas VINE search and notification is specific to offenders housed in county jails. Kansas VINE does not include the Kansas Department of Corrections offenders housed in state prisons. Kansas VINE is free, confidential and voluntary for victims of crime, criminal justice professionals, and the public to use. Kansas VINE features live operator support for VINE users and includes assistance in over 190 languages.

The VINE toll-free number is (866) 574-8463.
